Peppy Winchel is the Executive Director of the Thomas Jefferson Emergency Medical Services Council in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has over 20 years of experience in workforce training, developing and delivering training for first responders and skilled service providers in disaster response, and 10 years of experience as a science educator in a variety of classrooms. Peppy is a US Army veteran with a broad background, working at federal agencies (NIH, CDC), national organizations (American Red Cross), state agencies (Texas A&M, UVA), and local agencies and organizations.
